creating my blog

I am officially starting my blog today with the help of my friend, Kelley.  After being asked frequently about our adoption from Ethiopia, we decided that we needed to start a blog to keep our family and friends updated.  In my next post, I'll start at the beginning of our story.  Thank you to all of you who are praying for our family during this journey.

Hi Collins Family,
Your new daughter will LOVE reading this one day! She will see how much prayer and love was going on even before she was born.
Your blog is great!
I love you all!

Hi Collins Family!
What an inspiration you are...not only through your obedience to Him, but through the contagious anticipation that you share with all of us! I feel honored to get to watch God's master plan unfold and realize with every word I read that He already knew this day would come...even before each of you were even born ! And that He has been preparing your whole family for such a time as this....from the beginning. My prayer will be that the journey that you are embarking on won't be too long or too tiresome, but that each day will bring another piece of "God-affirmation". I read something recently that reminded me of the journey you're on right now: "The Kingdom of God is near, but it is not here in fullness yet. It is already and it is not yet. Sometimes you can really tell that you are meeting a bit of the Kingdom, like a little patch of rich lush plants in the middle of a dry parched field. When you find people who are living in the way of Jesus, that is a little sprouting plant of the Kingdom, like a seedling tree that is small and fragile now, but one day it will be 80 feet tall." Thank you, Collins family, for desiring to nurture a little patch of the Kingdom, along the way! Love, Susan Siragusa
